Western Plains style percussion halfstock rifle made by Slotter and Company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for "A.J. PLATE / SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA". 30 - 1/4" heavy octagon .45 caliber gain twist rifled barrel with Rocky Mountain sights and Slotter and Plate stamping. Slotter/Phila marked back action lock with double set triggers. Walnut checkered half stock with brass hardware and 3 German sliver inlays. Comes with hardwood ramrod. CONDITION: Overall good with normal usage wear and tear and dings. Shootable bore with set triggers not functioning properly. DLM
