L.C. Smith Field Grade made by Hunter Arms Company in 1931. Blued 28" 16 gauge Armor Steel barrels with extractors, matted rib, and brass bead front sight. Case hardened featherweight frame with 2-position safety and double triggers. Plain, checkered walnut stock with hard rubber grip cap and added Noshoc pad. Matching checkered splinter forearm with friction release. CONDITION: 90% original blue on barrels with areas fading to silvery patina in carry areas. 80% fading case colors with some splotchy discoloration. Wood has 50% fading varnish with some light cleaning and a crack behind left lock plate and added reproduction rubber recoil pad. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
