An interesting brass framed 3-barrel derringer with exposed hammer and spur trigger. Barrel selecting lever on the right side. 2-piece varnished wood grip panels. Half moon German silver front sight with a U notch rear sight. Top break action that hinges at the bottom. "WM W MARSTON / PATENTED / MAY 26, 1857 / NEW YORK CITY / IMPROVED 1864" inscribed on the left side of the frame. CONDITION: Gun retains traces of the original blue finish in the protected areas. Dark bores with some frosting and pitting in the lands and grooves. Grips retain 60% of the original varnish. REW
