SSP. An outstanding and bright example of this C. 1920's Porcelain Sign from Shell Gasoline showing unique Shell lettering as well as early style scallop Shell graphic and colors. CONDITION: Sign is overall outstanding throughout showing excellent color & gloss with heavy shelving between each color. Sign shows two small chips in the inner field and is relatively free of any surface wear in the field. Sign shows one small hole near the lower edge as well as some minor chipping along the outer edges, none of which extends into the field. These are very early pieces of Shell signage and while most examples we have ever sold have shown crudely stenciled lettering while this one shows rather crisp lines with outstanding color free of factory flaw. A fine and outstanding displaying example.

Condition: (8.75+).

Item Dimensions: 30" Dia.
OUTSTANDING SHELL GASOLINE "ROXANNA" PORCELAIN SERVICE STATION SIGN W/ EARLY SHELL GRAPHIC.
