DSP. Maker Marked Walker & Co., Detroit, Michigan. Brilliant & outstanding C. 1930's Porcelain Sign from United Motors Service showing excellent Car graphic as well as United colors. CONDITION: Side one is outstanding throughout showing brilliant color & gloss with no notable field wear present. Side one shows one edge chip at the outer left but is not overly distracting as the outer dark band hides the flaw, Grade 9.25+. Side two also shows near flawless color & gloss throughout with outstanding condition graphic and script with no notable age wear present. Side two shows one minimal factory flaw near the "D" of United as well as one very minor edge chip at the far right edge, Grade 9.25+. Sign shows all four of its original zinc grommets intact. An outstanding example throughout and overall would be extremely tough to upgrade.
