DSP. An incredibly scarce and significantly clean example of this 30" Porcelain Curb Sign from Signal Gasoline, most likely the finest known example and the only example to ever publicly sell. Sign features the iconic Signal Stop Light graphic as well as Signal Gas script with unique colors. CONDITION: Side one is overall excellent showing an incredibly clean field free of any chipping or wear. Side one shows only one minimal surface scratch in the "S" of Gas. Sign shows four factory holes along the outer edge with five added mounting holes, all of which show chipping. The chipping does not extend into the black field, Grade 8.75+. Side two also presents phenomenal color & gloss throughout the field showing no chipping with excellent script and graphic. Side two shows only a slight amount of minimal surface scratch in the field but overall displays an outstanding condition field. Side two also shows chipping at the added mounting holes along the edge with one going slightly into the black porcelain at the left, Grade 8.75+. Sign shows four original factory grommets at the outer edge and is mounted in a metal ring which displays the piece very well and is painted in matching red. A true statement piece of rarity with outstanding display power.
