DSP. An outstanding C. 1950's Porcelain Sign from Studebaker Automobiles showing "Authorized Service" throughout each side. Sign features unique Studebaker script with excellent red, white & blue porcelain. CONDITION: Side one shows outstanding color & gloss throughout the field showing an outstanding condition field with only a minimal amount of faint surface wear and light scratching. Side one shows very light chipping at the mounting holes with a very clean outer edge, Grade 9.0. Side two also shows outstanding color & gloss throughout the field showing chipping in the inner field with one minor area of discoloration in the red lower field. Side two also shows chipping at the top two mounting holes with an excellent condition outer edge, Grade 9.0. Sign is mounted in a metal ring that has been nicely painted in black and displays the sign very well. An outstanding condition piece with excellent display power.
