DSP. Sign is Maker Marked Veribrite Signs, Chicago. Outstanding condition C. 1950's Porcelain Sign for "The National Poultry Improvement Plan" showing an excellent Unites States graphic as well as Chick. CONDITION: Side one is overall outstanding showing brilliant color & gloss throughout with no notable field wear. Side one shows some faint wear along the outer edge and mounting holes but overall displays excellent. Side two also shows excellent color & gloss throughout the field with only a minimal amount of light surface scratching as well as one minor chip at the upper right edge. Side two shows some minimal mounting hole wear but overall displays very well, Grade 9.0. An excellent example overall of this unique piece of Porcelain Signage from the Department of Agriculture.
