DSP. Sign is Dated 1934. Absolutely outstanding C. 1930's Porcelain Service Station Sign for Texaco Gasoline & Motor Oils, one of if not the finest example we have ever sold. Sign features iconic Texaco Star graphic with unique Texaco colors. CONDITION: Side one is simply brilliant showing outstanding color & gloss throughout with no notable field wear other than a few fines surface scratches as well as one light areas of spider webbing at the left. The outer edge is also brilliant showing just minimal storage wear, Grade 9.5+. Side two is also absolutely brilliant showing incredible color & gloss with no notable field wear other than a few fine surface scratches. Side two shows one scratch in the "N" of Gasoline at the outer field with an outstanding condition outer edge showing light storage wear, Grade 9.25+. An incredible example of this iconic piece in near impossible to upgrade condition.
