DST. Sign is maker-marked Donaldson Art Sign Co., Covington, Kentucky. A nice example of this unique piece of tin service station signage from Shaler Tube Repairs. CONDITION: Side one shows excellent color & gloss throughout with a minimal amount of surface scratch in the inner field. The outer field shows some minor surface scratching as well as brown spotting, but overall very clean, Grade 8.5. Side two also shows excellent color & gloss but shows some heavier surface scratches as well as some heavier brown spotting along the lower field. The outer edge as well as flange portion is in very good condition and overall displays well, Grade 8.0. A nice example overall that displays well.
