SSP. An incredibly clean as well as incredibly scarce example of this C. 1930's Porcelain Service Station Sign from Hood Tires showing the elusive "Bow Tie" variation as well as Hood with arrow script. Most likely one of the finest examples known of this unique rarity. CONDITION: Sign shows brilliant color & gloss throughout the field showing only faint surface rubs and minimal wear but overall outstanding. Sign shows some faint wear at the mounting holes with light chipping at the top mounting hole on the cap. Sign shows one chip at the left edge under the arm as well as some faint nicks along the outer edge. The flag and feet are both in outstanding condition and the neck is free of any stress markings. An unbelievably clean example of this rarity from Hood Tires with outstanding display power.
