Model 1922 manufactured by Fabrique Nationale while under German occupation during World War II. Left side of frame bears stampings stipulating the manufacturer information, patent information, as well as "(Eagle) / WaA140" waffenamts and an eagle firing proof, which are also present on the left side of the frame. Major metal components are blued, with the barrel being in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece checkered wood grips. Slide bluing has been touched up on either side. All numbers are matching and include the frame, slide, muzzle nut, and the barrel. Pistol is accompanied by a custom brown leather holster that was produced from a period holster. CONDITION: Very good overall, with metal components exhibiting some wear and thinning on the muzzle nut and high edges, with some spots of mild surface oxidation overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Grips show some mild smoothing and a few handling marks, with the right panel exhibiting a crack at the top of the panel. Custom period holster exhibits some age related cracking, but is otherwise fine. MLW
