Lot consists of: (A) Framed 9x7 photo of General Maxwell Taylor addressed to renowned collector John K. Lattimer. The signature reads "To John Lattimer / with best regards / Maxwell D. Taylor / Nov. 10, 1970." The photo is professionally framed and matted measuring approximately 13 - 1/2" x 11 - 1/4" including the frame. CONDITION: Signature exhibits fading with blemishes on the frame. (B) Framed 9" x 7" photo of General George Patton. The signature reads "from GS Patton Jr," signed on the collar of his B-3 jacket. The photo is professionally framed and matted with a 7th Army and 3rd Army patch. Measures approximately 14" x 11 - 5/8" including the frame. Protective wrapping still in place over the glass. CONDITION: Signature exhibits fading with blemishes on the frame. (C) Letter signed by General Matthew Ridgway addressed to John K. Lattimer. The letter was typed by Ridgway as thanks for receiving a copy of one of Lattimer's books and is signed "Matt". John Lattimer would often write to various celebrities and well known US officials in order to obtain their signatures. CONDITION: Letters exhibit fading, paper remains crisp. Contained in original envelope. All of these signatures were part of the John K. Lattimer Collection.
