1856 vintage Colt Model 1849, serial number 122094. 4" octagonal Manhattan Firearms Manufacturing Company marked replacement barrel in .31 caliber with cone front sight and hammer notch rear. Matching serial numbers observed on frame, trigger guard, cylinder, and butt. 1 piece plain walnut grips. Complete with aftermarket wood case, C&W Hawksley powder flask, a Colt marked pistol powder flask with eagle motif, an eagle motif powder flask with no makers mark, an unmarked bullet mold, and a tin of percussion caps. CONDITION: Good, as assembled, with barrel retaining strong traces of original bluing, with the majority turned a blue-brown patina. Stagecoach cylinder scene is complete and easily visible throughout. Trigger guard is a mellow patina. Grips are strong with finish loss at edges and handling marks throughout. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is very good with modest abrasion and crisp rifling. Case is excellent, and accessories range from fair to very good.
