Lot consists of: (A) May 1777 Pennsylvania commission for Charles Cabin appointing him a second lieutenant in a company of foot in the Berks County Militia. (B) May 12th, 1777 Pennsylvania commission for John Moore, Esq. appointing him a Colonel in the 2nd Battalion of Philadelphia Militia. CONDITION: Good condition with both documents exhibiting age toning, small scattered stains. Cobin commission exhibits top left and leading edge paper loss. Both have partial Pennsylvania state paper seals remaining. BRM.
