Round barrel with a partially flattened sighting rib, which runs for approximately 11" from breech forward., and brass blade front sight. Banana cock indistinctly signed "P IACTVES", with swan neck cock, faceted pan, replaced pan cover. Brass tipped ramrod, probably replaced, retained by a faceted ferrule and feeding into a reinforced mouth with faceted mouth and spearpoint finial. Brass thumbpiece engraved with light geometrics, which is repeated on sideplate and trigger guard. Large brass buttcap, with tall stirrups. Stock carved with florals around the tang and the ramrod mouth. CONDITION: Barrel is an even chocolate patina with evidence of lacquer left on left side of breech. Pan cover is replaced with a more recent iteration and has been refaced in 2 pieces. Brass is a lovely deep untouched gold color. Stock with some normal handling marks throughout, including some chipping around pins, areas of repairs, crack and chips around lock commensurate with a mainspring kick, and a crack at right side of stock. One locking bolt replaced. Mechanically fine, bore is good.
