1777 letter that details a small, but important part of the American Revolution that took place during at Livingston Manor, Albany County, New York. This may be referring to the Battle of Egremont. Letter details attacks by the Friends of Liberty on loyalists. Included are the number of wounded, killed, and specifically details the Claverack District Militia, Tories, and Rangers. Signed "By order of the Committee, Dirck Jansen, Chairman". CONDITION: Light scattered stains along right margin with typical age toning overall. BRM.
