Lot consists of 3 items. Each 1 page filled out on both sides. (A) One side a list of medicines in a medical chest: “A list of sundries kept for Machias agreeable to order of court consigned to Col. Nevers to the care of Col. Campbell." Long list of medicines and the value of the chest itself. Reverse: list of ordnance supplies and 2 9-pound cannon and 1 4-pound Cannon: powder, round shot, powder horns, priming irons, cannisters for grape shot, etc. “War Office Boston 13th Oct. 1777.” CONDITION: Good. Separation line and tape repair at horizontal fold. (B) “The alarm list,” Ipswich August 1778, “Return of the equiptments in my company now at home.” Capt. Lord’s company July 1778, listing men with number of firearms, ramrods, priming wires, bayonets, etc. CONDITION: Good. (C) Similar list, undated but from the same ledger, with list divided into sergeants, corporals, followed by others, likely privates. CONDITION: Good.
