Lot consists of 5 items: (A) Muster roll of a company commanded by Lt. Woodbury in Col. Lee's regiment dated Cambridge Aug. 9, 1777. Lists 2 lieutenants, 1 ensign, 1 sergeant, a drummer and fifer and 10 privates present and absent, with details of rank, date or appointment or enlistment, etc. CONDITION: Very good. (B) Muster roll of 3rd Company 7th Massachusetts Regiment August 1782. Lists officers, NCOs, musicians and 42 privates with note on transfer of one to the Invalids. Certified at bottom by Capt. Rufus Lincoln and Colonel Walter Stewart. CONDITION: Excellent. Minor folds, stains. (C) "A muster roll of the late Capt. Jacob Allen's Comp in the (-) Battalion Massachusetts Bay Forces in the Service of the United States Command by Col. John Bailey Taken for July 1778." This would be the 2nd Massachusetts. Full listing of officers, NCOs, drummer and fifer, privates, with ranks, dates of appointment, enlistment etc. and remarks, several being noted as "Sick Valley Forge." Usual summary and certifications on reverse signed by Col. Bailey. CONDITION: Good. Very legible and presentable. Some separation lines. 3 tape repairs on reverse. (D) November and December 1780 muster roll of Lt. Col. Badlam's company in Bailey's 2nd Massachusetts. Remarks include men on command at Stony Point, on guard, cutting wood, etc. Standard "Proof of Effectives" on reverse giving summary of 1 lieutenant, 1 ensign, tow sergeants, 1 corporal, drummer and fifer, and 20 privates present and absent. CONDITION: Very Good. Folds. Stains at top and bottom. (E) Pay abstract for NCOs and soldiers of "Capt. Peter Woodbury's company in Col. Jacob Garrishes Regiment for the month of October 1778." Lists 58 officers and men with rate of pay and total for the month. This refers to Gerrish's "regiment of guards," doing duty at Boston and guarding Burgoyne's captured troops. CONDITION: Excellent.
