(A) 1786 pay authorization for interest on a depreciation certificate addressed to David Rittenhouse, treasurer, signed by Charles Biddle, for "Colonel Adam Hubley and others late of the Pennsylvania Line..." (B) as above, for "Colonel Thomas Johnston and others." (C) as above, for Henry McCormick Ensign and Brigade Major (D) as above, for William Henderson, Paymaster of Cavalry. All 4 signed by recipients on reverse. (E) Clip signature from document of Col. Andrew Porter. Former captain of Marines, Colonel 4th Pennsylvania. Rubbed. (F) Clip signature Capt. Robert Sample, 10th Pennsylvania Regt. (G) October 1783 receipt from William Henry for funds received from Col. Adam Hubley. These seem to be collected militia fines. (H) As above, November 1783. (I) August 1780 letter from Col. John Mitchell to the Vice President William Moore of the Pennsylvania Council regarding funds for the militia. (J) August 9, 1776, letter from Philadelphia signed by Robert Thompson indicating he has gone "out with this company to the camp" and asking for some clothing and bedding to be sent to him. CONDITION: Overall very good and legible. Some blotting to the Thompson letter and rubbing to the Porter signature.
