Lot consists of 5 items: (A) “An Enquiry into the Conduct of General Putnam in relation to the Battle of Bunker Hill…” Boston 1819. 58-page pamphlet. CONDITIOJN: Fair to good. Signatures loose. Losses to page edges, but only to small corner of text on last page. (B) Easton, Pennsylvania, Nov. 30, 1777, letter of Joseph Dean to William Patterson in Martinique regarding recovery of stolen funds and using it buy goods for him. Patterson was an important merchant from Baltimore. (C) June 1780 certificate for 6,000 dollars for a yoke of oxen at Newtown, Pennsylvania, under an act for supplying provisions to the army. CONDITION: Fair. Folds, fading, notes on reverse about redeeming the certificate in the 1790s. (D) 1746 will of John Robinson, Ulster County, New York. CONDITION: Fair. (E) 1743 County of Newlondon warrant for arrest of man selling rum to an Indian. CONDITION: Good. Some blotting to letters. (F) Clerical copy for Lt. Col. Badlam of Washington order Sept. 4, 1782, regarding acceptance of unfit men by mustering officers. Badlam was in the 7th Mass. CONDITION: Poor. Laid down on paper. Only reverse is legible.
