Lot consists of: (A) Revolutionary War era invoice for flour lent to Frederisckburg for Bramfield and Kofe, agents to the French Army serving in America. (B) Receipt from the State of Connecticut to David Nichols "to the hire of his horse from Fredericksburg to General Washingtons head quarters..." Signed Samuel Whiting Col. Commanding. CONDITION: Receipt for horse use is very good but has damaged inside edge that does not affect writing or content. French receipt is excellent. BRM.
