U.S. M-1 Carbine made by Standard Products between April of 1943 and May of 1944. 18" "UNDERWOOD" barrel dated "2-44" with Flaming Bomb. Arsenal post-War rebuilt rifle, most likely for use in Austria, with "N" marked milled front sight, Type III rear sight, and bayonet style "IS" marked front band. Trigger guard marked "LGKT/0326" which stands for "LANDES GENDARMERIE KOMMANDO TIROL" and a rack number. Inland marked trigger group with mixed parts, later flip safety, and M-2 style magazine release. Recoil shield unmarked. "S" marked slide well with "50S" marked flat style bolt. Beech oval cut low-wood stock marked with rack number in sling well and uncut for M-2. Beech 2-rivet top wood marked with rack number of gun. Comes with leather sling and CMP Authenticity Paper. CONDITION: Overall good with 90%+ arsenal finish on metal remaining. Stock has been lightly cleaned with light handling marks. Good bore with ME of 2 with good mechanics. A great looking carbine. DLM
