DST. An incredibly scarce piece of C. 1940's Tin Service Station Signage from Husky Gasoline showing a large Husky Dog graphic with Northern Light bursts and bold script with not many known examples. CONDITION: Side one shows very good color throughout the field showing an excellent large Husky Dog graphic showing some minor scratching at the left side as well as some minor color fading. Side one shows some minor surface scratching in the outer field with some minor crazing in the lower blue colors, Grade 7.5. Side two shows very good colors throughout with some heavier surface scratching scattered throughout the field but displays excellent with an excellent Husky graphic. Side two shows some areas of wear along the outer edge but overall displays clean, Grade 7.25. Sign shows seven areas of minor nail holes near the outer edge, all of which have been closed and are not very noticeable. Sign shows two added holes at the lower edge under the "I" of Gasoline. Although the piece shows some moderate wear it displays very well with a natural aged patina to it and is a very scarce piece with only a few examples known.

Condition: (7.5+ & 7.25).
