Produced in the 1980s for the U.S. Army as a .22 LR target rifle, this unissued example was sold through the Civilian Marksmanship Program in 2010 with included CMP Certificate of Authenticity. Rifle features a heavy profile blued 25" barrel with 1-line Kimber address, globe front sight, unmounted peep rear sight, and scope mounting blocks. Single shot Model 82 Government Action marked "US" over the serial number. Rifle is fit in a heavy walnut pistol grip stock with accessory rail, hand stop, rubber Kimber recoil pad, and spacers. Housed in the original box with paperwork. CONDITION: Excellent as unissued. Virtually all of the factory applied finishes are retained with a layer of protective storage grease. Solid bore with a layer or grease. Fine mechanics. BAS
