Exceptional crate of Yugoslavian M59/66 semi-automatic rifles. Crate contains 10 sequentially serialized Zastava M59/66 rifles that are accompanied by their matching instruction manuals that indicate these rifles were manufactured in 1973. Each rifle is of standard 59/66 configuration, featuring an integral grenade launcher, launcher sight, and rubber recoil pad. Exterior of crate exhibits several paper and painted labels, with the interior retaining its original label indicating that the rifles should be properly cleaned before firing. CONDITION: Excellent, as near new, with the rifles retaining virtually all of their original arsenal applied blue finish, exhibiting a layer of cosmoline on their exteriors. Mirror bores, exhibiting sharp and well defined lands and grooves throughout. Wood furniture is en suite. Exterior of crate exhibits some very minor losses to the corners of the braces, but is otherwise fine and completely serviceable. While once a common sight in the United States, these crates are now seldom encountered, with rifles having been removed from their crates and sold separately, making for an excellent opportunity for one to add an extremely attractive and scarce ensemble of sequentially serialized M59/66 rifles to their collection.
