Very nice large format tinted color Alexander Gardner image of President Lincoln. This particular sitting was taken in November of 1863 but print is most likely from the 1870s-1880s. Mounted in an attractive walnut hardwood and gold leafed gesso over wood trim shadow box frame. Measures 15" x 17" overall and inside oval image is 9" x 7". CONDITION: Overall very good retaining good color. Some light spotting present, especially on matting. Frame shows only light wear.
