Contemporary half stock Kentucky plains style rifle made by unknown gunsmith, J.J.J. L., at unknown date. 33" browned rifled octagonal barrel with rifle sights in .54 caliber, protected nipple, and marked with "J.J.J.L." stamping. Recycled Whitney musket lock dated 1848 with double set trigger control. Hardwood stock with iron hardware. Comes with hardwood ramrod. CONDITION: Gun is in nice shootable condition with some surface corrosion and appears to be a compilation of modern and old parts. Fantastic bore with crisp mechanics. DLM
