Savage Model 1899 manufactured by Savage Arms Company, Utica, New York in 1905. Blued 26" tapered octagon barrel in .303 Savage with sheared German silver blade front sight, Rocky Mountain rear adjustable sight. Blued solid frame receiver with plain trigger, lever safety, brass cartridge counter, and case hardened lever. Fancy American walnut stocks with Savage "B" checkering, blued crescent steel buttplate, and matching schnabel forearm. Comes with Cody Research letter verifying options. CONDITION: Metal has been professionally refinished to new condition with wood having been lightly cleaned with added coat of linseed oil. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
