Wonderful and all original handmade 1800s signal cannon. Bronze muzzle loading tube measures 10" from cascabel to a slightly flared muzzle with a 3/4" bore. Spring activated firing mechanism allows for lanyard activated firing. Wood carriage with iron furniture retains traces of dark green and maroon paint overall. There is a threaded screw knob under the breech that allows for elevation adjustments. Spoked wooden 9" wheels have hand forged iron bands. CONDITION: Very good overall with very old patina throughout. Spokes are are solid to wheels and firing mechanism functions properly. BRM.
