Classic take down lever action rifle chambered in .22 LR manufactured after 1905. Longer than standard 26" blued octagon barrel with dovetail blade front sight and Rocky Mountain rear. Case hardened receiver marked on tang "Marlin / MODEL '97". Stocked in plain walnut with a checkered composite "Marlin / Safety" butt plate with the center roundel engraved with an "h". CONDITION: Good. Barrel retains portions of factory applied blued finish thinning to a gray patina. Receiver has a silvery patina with some faint traces of case colors. Stocks have been cleaned with some scattered impressions. Solid bore with defined rifling. Fine mechanics. BAS
