TT-33 semi-automatic pistol manufactured at the Izhevsk Factory 74 during World War II. The left side of the frame bears the serial number, followed by the Izhevsk arsenal logo and the year of manufacture "1942", with some small scattered Soviet arsenal proofs present overall. Metal components are blued, while the frame is mounted with 2-piece black plastic serrated star insignia grips. Matching numbers include the frame, slide, barrel, as well as the magazine. Hammer assembly does not match, but bears proper Izhevsk proofs. Pistol is accompanied by a Bulgarian Browning Model 1903 brown leather holster featuring brass accoutrements. CONDITION: Metal components retain fair amounts of their original arsenal applied blue finish, exhibiting wear and thinning overall, with the balance exhibiting a mottled gray patina overall. Bore exhibits pitting and good rifling throughout. Grips show some scattered nicks and marks from handling and storage, but is otherwise fine. Leather holster is still malleable, exhibiting age related wear, marks from handling & storage, as well as a hole at the toe. A very desirable Russian World War II manufactured TT-33 semi-automatic pistol. MLW
