Standard configuration of a Webley Mark VI manufactured in 1916 that has been fitted with a Parker-Hale .22 Conversion. Standard sights with pinned front blade and notch rear cut into top-break lever, and an additional sight mounted to top strap as part of conversion. Numerous British proofs observed including broad arrows, BP proofs on chamber, and other associated proofs. Vulcanite grips with single escutcheon. Installed conversion cylinder with "PARKER-HALE" on rear face. Includes an unshaved .455 cylinder with appropriate proofing. CONDITION: Metal has been cleaned to a gunmetal grey throughout with some spotted mossing and areas of light peppering. Cylinder and sight with the vast majority of their bluing with some handling and operation marks from use, including a turn line. Leather spacer at muzzle for conversion is solid but peeling. Grips with handling marks and some softness throughout. Mechanically fine, bore is excellent. Spare cylinder is cleaned and commensurate to balance of revolver. A scarce conversion. EMW
