Lot consists of: (A) Civil War "Zouave" style saber bayonet in standard configuration and complete with leather scabbard. CONDITION: Bright blade with large area of spotting. Hilt with nice patina. Scabbard exhibits wear including loss, creases, and cracks, none of which fully penetrate the leather. Mounts with all retaining pins and nice patina. (B) Unsigned Collins & Co. style machete with large curved blade and wood grip scales. Complete with leather scabbard that features brass mounts and leather belt loop. CONDITION: Blade exhibits a gray patina with scattered blemishes. Grips exhibit small dents and handling wear. Scabbard body exhibits scattered creases and cracks with open seam. Brass mounts exhibit a fine patina and scattered dents. Belt loop is worn. (C) unmarked wood baton with blue and white tassel. CONDITION: Wood is finished with scattered dents and scattered hairline cracks. (D) M-3 fighting knife marked "U.S.M3 / CASE" on the guard. Complete with early composite scabbard marked "U.S.M8 / B M CO." Canvas belt loop is marked with serial number "L-7476". CONDITION: Blade retains most of its original finish with evidence of older sharpening. Leather washer grip has darkened with age and exhibits wear. Scabbard remains sturdy with scattered wear.
