Measures 10-3/4" across the bow. faceted spout section followed by a relief ring. Main section of horn engraved in block letters "E. Wilks" in a cartouche. There is also an engraved American eagle with "LIBERTY" above it. There are also 7 stars, a running buck and the date "SEPT. 2 1816". Flat wood plug. CONDITION: Dry and untouched. Some scattered insect holes. A nice patriotic powder horn.
