Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1954. 26" Stainless Winchester Proof Steel Standard Weight barrel with frosted finish, hooded ramp front sight, blanked rear sight boss, with action fitted with new Leupold VX-III 8.5-25x-50mm side focus scope with range finder reticle. Matted finish action with matching hollow handle bolt, 3 position safety, and blued steel detachable floorplate. Checkered walnut Monte Carlo stock with checkered steel widow's peak buttplate and original bow type sling swivels. CONDITION: 90% original blue with some light edge wear. Wood has been cleaned with added coat of oil finish with light handling marks. Excellent bore and mechanics with great optics. A great varmint rig. DLM
