Lot consists of: (A) Spanish Ruby style semi-automatic pistol made by Isodoro Gaztanaga with half-moon front sight, V notch rear, blued finish, and 2-piece checkered walnut grips. Many of these pistols were produced for France in World War I. Complete with a later combloc surplus holster and an extra magazine. CONDITION: Good. Significant portions of what appears to be a period refinish are retained with edge wear and thinning. Grips retain sharp checkering with some light wear. Good bore showing defined rifling. Mechanically fine. Matching serial numbers observed on frame, slide, and magazine.(B) Automatica Espanola Bufalo trademark pocket pistol with blued finish and checkered composite grisp with "CB" monogram and buffalo head motifs. Complete with a later combloc surplus holster. CONDITION: Poor. Vast majority of the factory blued finish is retained with some edge wear and thinning on the straps. Grips are worn but serviceable. Worn, frosted bore. Action requires attention and is currently not functional. From the Personal Collection of Esteemed Firearms Researcher and Collector Edwin F. Libby.
