Lot consists of two "Last Ditch" Japanese Type 99 military rifles made at Nagoya and Kokura Arsenals in Japan. (A) Rifle has a 25 - 1/2" blued barrel with protected notch front sight and rear fixed peep hole sight. Machine finish action with intact chrysanthemum and matching crude last ditch style bolt. Wooden pieced full stock with wooden buttplate and steel hardware. CONDITION: Stock has been lightly cleaned. Good bores and mechanics. (B) Rifle mirrors gun (A) exception that it was made at Kokura Arsenal, has matching bolt with earlier style plum shaped handle, and late welded safety.
