Lot consists of 2 Japanese Last Ditch Type 99 military bolt action rifles made at Nagoya Arsenal in Japan. (A) Rifle has a 26" blued barrel with protected notch front sight and rear late style fixed rear peep hole sight. Machine finish action with ground chrysanthemum and mismatched late style crude bolt. Late style crude wooden pieced full stock with wooden buttplate and steel hardware with no ramrod provision (B) Identical to (A). CONDITION: Both rifles have ground Mums, Mismatched bolts and stocks that have been cleaned with rifle (B) having an oil soaked look. Both have good bores and good mechanics.
