Lot consists of 2 Japanese Type 99 military rifles. (A) Made at the Nagoya arsenal. Rifle has a 26" blued barrel with protected notch front sight and rear flip up aircraft sight with levelers. Machine finish action with ground chrysanthemum and mismatched bolt. Wooden pieced full stock with finger groove and steel hardware with missing monopod and matching numbered bayonet lug. Comes with original cleaning rod. CONDITION: Stock has been cleaned with a light coat of oil applied. Good bore and mechanics. (B) Made at the Toyo Kogyo arsenal. Rifle has 26" blued barrel with notch front sight and rear flip aircraft sight missing levelers. Action has Toyo Kogyo, Hiroshima prefecture markings with mismatched bolt. Finger groove wooden stock with steel hardware and no monopod provision. Comes with original cleaning rod. CONDITION: Stock has been cleaned with light coat of oil applied.
