Lot contains: (A) Luftwaffe dagger with an unmarked blade with very light freckling (appears to have been cleaned) and light scattered marks throughout the entire blade. Yellow wire-wrapped trylon exhibits only very light wear, and aluminum fittings have patina. Portepee with very light wear is attached. Steel scabbard has light wear and is heavily patinaed in a uniform brown color. A deluxe Luftwaffe hanger is attached with matching patina. CONDITION: Overall very good. (B) Heer dagger with a "WKC" marked blade with visible cross graining and light scattered marks, very light spots of freckling, with numerous (12-15) tiny dings on the edges. Yellow trylon grip appears undamaged with a spot of light staining, and nickeled fittings retain their burnished finish. Steel scabbard also retains its nice burnished finish with wear at the tip. Deluxe Heer hangers are attached with light wear. CONDITION: Overall very good to excellent. (C) Heer dagger with an original "Alcoso" marked blade with visible cross graining, light freckling, scattered marks, and with several tiny dings. Grip and fittings are reproductions. Steel scabbard retains some of its burnished finish with wear. Deluxe Heer hangers with very light wear are attached. WEZ
