Late 18th century. The round 2-stage barrel is marked "NH No. 289" on the left side. The replaced lock is marked "CALDERWOOD" in the center. Brass furniture, buttplate tang engraved "41st REGT No 29". Walnut stock of English form, iron ramrod. CONDITION: Barrel retains brown patina, heavy corrosion at breech, was once percussion.
