Lot consists of (A) Complete with two letters of authenticity, one from James Spence and another from the PSA/DNA Authentication Services. The framed document measures 30 - 5/8" x 18 - 7/8". Document measures 13 - 1/2" x 8 - 3/4". Framed in a gilt frame with an engraving of John Quincy Adams. Land grant on vellum for land in the Ohio territory dated September 1, 1825. Addressed to Martin Hanger Assignee of Philip Brock. CONDITION: Fold lines and tear to seal. Some minor staining. (B) Carved wood with label on back "Piece of solid mahogany that once belonged to John Quincy Adams, it being a present to him by the King of England while minister to his court from this country. Presented by Mrs. M.B. Whitney. CONDITION: Staining and yellowing to label, piece missing on top left corner. A nicely framed presidential document.
