Lot consists of (A) 1796 pattern British officer's gorget in a display box. Has the original lining and portion of a neck ribbon. CONDITION: Very good. Semi-bright with nicely detailed engraving. Some gilt remaining. (B) Similar gorget. Portion of modern chain attached. CONDITION: Very good. Brass polished long ago, some spotting and minor darkening. (C) Cast oval brass plate with 4 prongs on reverse. Prince of Wales feathers on the face, motto "ICH DIEN" in ribbon scroll, "XLD" at bottom edge, oriented lengthwise. CONDITION: Good. Aged green patina front and back. Hooks in place. A fixed plate rather than a buckle for a narrow shoulder belt or box.
