AGS CERTIFIED #10171. DSP. Sign shows an Ink Stamp "Property Of Shell Petroleum Corporation". A well displaying example of this highly sought after Sign from Shell advertising "Golden Shell Motor Oils". CONDITION: Side one shows very good color & gloss throughout showing one chip in the center field as well as a chip at the lower left. Side one shows minimal surface scratching with light staining at the lower and at the mounting holes, (Score 86). Side two also shows very good color & gloss with minimal areas of light chips in the inner & outer field as well as some minor surface scratch and discoloration. Side two shows minimal mounting hole wear with light chipping along the edges, (Score 85). A well displaying example of this rare piece from Shell with both excellent displaying size and display power.
