AGS CERTIFIED #10189. DSP. A scarce C. 1920's Porcelain Sign from Zerolene showing "For Motor Cars" with iconic Polar Bear graphic. CONDITION: Side one is overall fair showing heavy surface scratching with moderate discoloration throughout. Side one also shows heavy wear at the edge with areas of grind repair at the edge, (Score 75). Side two also shows heavy wear and surface scratching throughout the field but shows clean script and a clean graphic. Side two shows bondo layers along the outer edge with preparation for restoration, (Score 69). Although the piece shows wear it displays well and is a great candidate for full restoration.
