AGS CERTIFIED #10251. DSP. A very scarce piece of C. 1930's Porcelain Sign for Standard Oil Products showing unique shape and script as well as red, white & blue colors. CONDITION: Side one displays very well overall with very good color & gloss showing light areas of surface scratching as well as some minimal factory flaws. Side one shows some areas of chipping at the mounting holes as well as some minimal edge wear but overall displays excellent, (Score 83). Side two also shows very good color & gloss throughout the field with some minor areas of light discoloration in the blue as well as some moderate areas of surface scratch. Side two shows wear at each of the mounting holes as well as some faint outer edge wear, (Score 82). A well displaying example of this tough to find sign from Standard Oil Co.
