Percussion fowler with lock marked "L. CROMWELL F.P. BALTIMORE", made circa 1850. 48 - 1/4" octagon-to-round 8 gauge barrel, unmarked, with 2 platinum bands at breech, patent breech, and bead front sight. Single trigger control. Walnut figured checkered half stock with engraved iron hardware, silver thumbpiece, and silver barrel escutcheon plates. Comes with hardwood ramrod and consignor research packet. CONDITION: Overall good with layer of varnish applied over entire gun. Dark bore and good mechanics. DLM
