Lot consists of 34 Maryland non-excavated state seal buttons, 24 coat and 10 cuff size. Manufacturers and dates vary. Almost all are likely post-War, but lot includes a 3-piece "Canfield Bro. & Co. / Baltimore" Maryland militia staff, Tice MD200A2, familiar from its presence on one of R.E. Lee's uniforms. CONDITION: Good overall. The Canfield button has bright gilt on the face is usually regarded as Confederate.
