An outstanding displaying example of this C. 1920's Porcelain Service Station Thermometer from Shell Gasoline & Motor Oils showing early Clamshell shape with outstanding Shell colors. CONDITION: Thermometer shows an outstanding condition inner field free of any notable chipping and only a minimal amount of light surface scratch. Thermometer shows its original cradle hardware with working Thermometer, showing only light edge wear around the perimeter of the thermometer sight area. Thermometer shows brilliant condition Shell graphics with only a minimal amount of light mounting hole chipping at the top and bottom. The outer edge shows just a minimal amount of chipping and overall displays outstanding. An incredible example of this highly sought after piece from Shell.
